Team Move meets Tuesday evening at 7:00 P.M. and Saturday morning at 7:30 A.M. for ninety minutes. The first half you will participate in group therapy. This is a time when you will be able to talk about your highs, lows, stresses, fears, frustrations, and goals. You will be able to give and receive feedback from the other participants in the group and experience a safe environment to have your feelings heard.
The second half of the group will focus on nutrition, healthy eating habits, and physical fitness. Again, you will participate as a group so that you will be able to give and receive the positive support that you deserve.
Each session will have a goal that you will be working toward. It could be a 5k, a half marathon, or a hiking or biking trip. You will work on this goal as a team and will be encouraged by all of your teammates throughout the process.
